Kaiyo grinned, "Best drinks? I'm there. Nothing like good hard alcohol after a day's successful work." "Alright then, fine by me." She took a quick turn, and in a few minutes pulled into the cafe's parking lot. "Here we are. Sorry we can't take you with us, bye!" She waved a bit before driving off. "Alright Osai, we're headed to one of my places first so I can change. If you want to spruce up, I have men's clothes there too, that'll probably fit." She headed upstate, and they drove for a while until the city fell away and it became more and more orchards and fields. Driving to the end of a dirt road, she stopped the car in front of a large, three story house, an orchard sprawled beneath it. Getting out, she waved to some of the people working on the orchard. "Hey Sophie, Ricardo. Have any of you guys eaten yet?" She looked up and down their tired and sweaty forms as they shook their heads no. "Been too busy tending the trees to stop for lunch. We lost track o' time." An Australian man with light blonde hair responded. "Well, go on in and fix yourselves something! This is why I keep the house open! What use is all that food if nobody's eating it?" She sighed, smiled and headed inside, motioning for Osai to follow. When Osai heard that they were going to Kaiyo's place, he thought it would be some kind of mansion, concidering of what some of the piece of art she stole and sold. But when they started towards the contry-side, he was surprised at what he saw. She did say she had multible houses. I guess it would make sense to be out here. Easier to hide, when needed. He stepped out of the car, amazed at the beautiful orchard. He's never been to the subaerbs before. He's seen many pictures of farms and read millions of articles. But, being stuck helping Seiya in the city, he's never had a chance to see the real deal. He took in a deep breath of that 'clean country air' he'd read about. It was full of many smells he's never smelled that clearly before. It was fastinating. Kaiyo started walking down the driveway, Osai quickly catching up with her. He saw the couple of people who were working in the orchards. Are these people her family? No. Just probably people who live with her. Hm--They seem so happy, working out there. Maybe I should come out here and try my hand at it. How hard can it be? A grin appeared on his face as he came upp beside Kaiyo.

She glanced at him, and opened the door gracefully. "What are you smiling about?" she wondered aloud, cocking her head to the side, making some of her red hair fall loosely into her eyes that glittered with curiosity.
She led the way up a flight of oak stairs, opening a pair of french doors into the bedroom. Nothing in the room was out of place, in fact it practically looked like a hotel room, nothing out of place, and nothing personal.
"Make yourself at home. I don't really come to this house much anyway, that's why I leave it to the workers. They needed jobs, and so I let them take care of the land. I make so much money off of stealing, they get paid quite well, and they have this huge house to themselves. Good deal, if you ask me," she shrugged her shoulders and motioned Osai in.
"This is my private bedroom, and men's clothes are in that bureau." she pointed to one on the other side of a large four-poster bed that she took a seat on, removing the blazer and her red heels before collapsng backwards onto the floral print of the bedspread, a contented smile playing across her lips. "Mmm, sleepy," she muttered. "We could just celebrate here. I've got movies, plenty of liquor, a warm bed..." She looked lazily up at the ceiling before turning onto his stomach to look at him. "How about it? Big party at a club or a cozy evening in the country? You could even stay here for the night, if you like. I got plenty of rooms available. This house used to be an inn, you know." She laid back against the pillows. "I bought it out, and reused the land."

Osai looked at Kaiyo. "Oh! Um, just admirering the place. It is quite beautiful." He figured he'd tell her about wanting to try to work in the orchards later, after they had fun.
He followed her through the house, listening to her story. "Really? So, where's your family? Or, do you not have one?" He felt bad asking such personal questions, but they just slipped out. Once he asked them , they were already to Kaiyo's room. He was taken aback at the size and neatness of the hotel-like bed room.
He headed striaght to the bureau, not saying a word, still taking in all the details. He shuffled through all the clothes, picking out a royal blue shirt, to replace his now worn out one. He pulled off his shirt and tossed it to the side. He looked to Kaiyo as she rested herself onto the bed next to him. He quickly pulled on the other shirt and sat on the edge of the bed, turned towards Kaiyo.
He listened and smiled as she gave her suggestion. He liked it. It would just be the two of them, instead of the 50 drunk people there would be if they went to a bar. He gave a nod. "I'd like that very much. On one condition--" he gave a sheepish grin, "I get to make the drinks."

Kaiyo's grin faltered a bit. "We don't talk much. I distanced myself from them a long time ago." she said vaguely, then continued on, her eyes lingering on Osai's bare chest.
An eyebrow shot up. "You make the drinks? Fine by me, I s'pose. Did you used to be a bartender or something?"
"Now, shall we head to the kitchen? You must be hungry after all the adrenaline of a escape. I know I am. Just wait until we get to an actual heist." She slid off the bed and practically bounced behind a painted screen. She reached her hand out and wagged a finger. "No peeking, you." She poked her head out. "If you want, you can head downstairs to the kitchen. Down one flight, then follow the hall with the red rug, you'll pass by the bar and then you turn to the left and you're in the kitchen."

"Not professionally. But Seiya was pretending to be one for one of her missions. I had to look up all the drinks to tell her how to mix them for the customers." He laughed and smaked his head. "That was one of the worst. She kept getting drunk. Never finished the mission--but, at least I got something out of it."
Osai couldn't help but let out a little snicker as he left the room. "I'll meet you in the kitchen, then." He trotted down the stairs, his shoes pounding on the bare wood. When he got to the bottom, he took off his shoes. "Don't need these on. Plus my feet are a little tired," and he placed them beside the stairs.
He quickly found the bright red rug and followed it down the hall. "I either feel like a movie star, or Dorthy," he laughed, as he started humming 'Follow the Yellow Brick Road'. Once he got to the bar, he stopped his humming, and quickly examined the different liquers. He contimplated what drinks he could and should make for them later. With all his thinking, he almost missed the entry to the kitchen. But he got there soon enough.
He went to the sink, first, washing off the grease that were still on his hands from the elevator hopping. He glanced out the window that lay in front of him. The sun had already set, the moon creating a misty light over the land. Osai smiled at the sight of the stars. He'd never been able to see them in the city. They were beautiful. He shut off the foset, grabbing a towel to dry his hands. When he looked up again, he saw a dark figure in the trees, its eyes flashing up at him. The body was too big to be a dog, or even a coyote. "A wolf? What's a wolf doing out here?"

Kaiyo quickly changed her clothes and snuck downstairs, listening to the muddled Wizard Of Oz musical that was taking place in her hallway. She glanced at the shelves of liquor in the bar, wondering if there was enough. When she got to the kitchen, she perched herself on the counter. "Hey, you." she grinned at her companion, wearing a pair of cotton pants and a tank top. "So, what are you hungry for? Mexican? Sweets? Thai?" she reached over the granite counter to grab a ceramic jar, and popped a few jelly beans into her mouth.

Osai, slightly surprised, looked to her and smiled. He placed the towel back on the rack and leaned against the counter, next to Kaiyo. "Anything. I've had instant Raman for the past week, and could go for anything." He gave a sweet smile and pushed himself away from the counter. "I'll go mix us a couple of drinks." Already knowing what he was going to make, he grabbed the bowl of sugar and a bowl of fruits that were sitting on the counter. He looked back to Kaiyo before he left the room, "I'll give these back soon," and continued to the bar.
He set the two bowls on the bar counter and started grabbing glasses. He picked out all the lemons from the bowl and started washing and peeling them. He filled a pitcher halfway and then started pouring the sugar in. "That should be enough." He said to himself, puting the sugar bowl to the side. He spun around and searched the many bottle until he found what he was looking for: 100 proof vodka. He smiled and turned back to the pitcher, pouring only a little in. He then took the lemons from the sink and squized the juice into the mixture. After stiring it a bit, he poured it into two glasses.
He came back into the kitchen, glasses in one hand, the bowl in the other. Once he set the bowl back in their places, he offered Kaiyo the glass. "My dear, an Italian Limoncello." He took a sip of his and gave a sly grin.

Kaiyo smiled, her green eyes twinkling, and slid off the counter. She took the offered glass, sipped, and licked her lips, her sharp teeth flashing behind a wet tongue. "Not bad. You know you stuff." She took a larger gulp and made her way to the fridge.
"Now, dinner." she opened the door and perused the contents before setting down her drink and pulling out the leftovers of a vanilla bundt cake. "Let them eat cake. it is a celebration after all." She took out a pair of forks and. grinning mischeviously, slowly drug her finger through the icing on the side before plopping it onto Osai's nose.

Midori yawned and stretched herself out. She looked around and shook herself of the dirt that had gotten into her fur. She stretched her neck in slight irritation of the bandages around it as she set her eyes on the building up ahead.
It was dinner time, according to the position of the sun. Midori started towards the house and looked sharply up at the figure she saw in the window. He did not look familiar... which meant that Kaiyo was home with company.
Midori soon came up to the back door and scratched at the door, a small whine in her throat. She could have used the other door with the doggy door, but she wanted a good view of the unfamiliar person she could smell inside. Sitting down, she waited for someone to open the door for her.

Osai went cross-eyed, looking at the icing on the end of his nose. He wiped it off with his finger and stuck it in his mouth. "Mmmmm. That's good," he laughed. He took a swig of his drink, setting it on the counter. "But you don't want to start that with me. There's no possible way you could win." He gave a sly grin as he leaned towards Kaiyo, tapping her nose with his icing covered finger, which he had snuck while setting down his drink.
He was waiting to see what Kaiyo would do, but suddenly lost track of what was going on when scratching and whining came from outside. "You have a dog?"

"I think I do want to start this with you," she smiled, leaning into Osai when his question caught her off-gaurd. "What? No, I wonder if one of the workers adopted one... they better clean up after it..." she growled, heading for the door.
Once she opened it, she just stared for a moment before looking up at Osai. "It's... a wolf... and it's hurt..." she cocked her head at the markings, cataloging it to some sort of magical being that she could figure out later.

Osai's eyes widened. The wolf-- He went over, standing next to Kaiyo, examining the wolf. "Well, then it must have an owner of somekind. Those bandages didn't get on there by magic." He paused. Well, maybe they did. This isn't a normal wolf. Just look at those uniqe markings. I wonder if I can talk with animals without changing--
He cocked his head and took a step to the side, making a pathway inside, his arm stretched out in a welcoming manner. He looked to the wolf with a smile and started making growling and barking noises.
"Would you like to come inside?"
((note: underlined speak means Osai is talking in 'wolf'))

((figured that out))
Kaiyo just looked at Osai. "Do you really think you can talk to it? You're making a fool of yourself." she crossed her arms and went back into the kitchen. "We don't know anything about this wolf, and you're inviting it inside?" she huffed, she was always a little put-out at inviting strangers, especially possibly magic ones, into her houses. And she wasn't even doing the inviting!
She rummaged through the cupboards, ears and a tail sprouting from her body. She was nervous and pissed, both usually emotions she felt during a heist, so changing was like a reflex.
She got out a bowl and sliced up some turkey breast and laid it on the floor. "C'mon wolfie. C'mon, I got din-din!" she rattled the bowl against the floor. If this wolf could understand her, she didn't feel bad about treating it in that annoying way and making it feel babied and inferior. If the wolf couldn't hear her, well, then at least she wasn't as big of an idiot as Osai.

Osai sighed. "Well, at least I'm trying. Even if it can't understand me, I can understand it." He turned, about to say something else, but he just stared, speachless at Kaiyo's new apperance.
"Um--Is this normal?" He gestured at her body. He'd known that the thief Kitsune had the apperance of a fox, but he never thought that they would be real.

Midori followed the two inside and sighed inwardly at the girl's speaking. She was a wolf, not some puppy dog.
While she was eating, she watched the guy who had invited her in. Not only was he unfamiliar, he had also talked to her in wolf. She guessed that saying of like attracting like was true, after all, she kept finding herself amongst other magical types like herself.
Midori wanted to say something back to the man, but she didn't really know what. Finishing the turkey, she licked the remnants from her mouth before she watched the two of them. She wondered if the girl was a shapeshifter like her, it seemed like it...
